Damon Industries presents a selection of recipes to help you get your creative "juices" flowing. We have many more than are listed here so please check back as we will change this list on a regular basis. Note #1: the term "reconstituted" refers to concentrated product that has been mixed with the proper amount of water and is ready to drink.
Note #2: for any punch recipe it is generally better to use a block of ice in the punch bowl. The ice will last longer, resulting in less "watering down" of your punch.



Cranberry Fizz- servings will vary (serving size)
16 oz reconstituted Fruitful Cranberry #002 or #012
16 oz reconstituted Fruitful Apple #013 or #001
2 tbsp lemon juice
12 oz ginger ale
Combine the juices, add the ginger ale and serve over ice.

Fruit loose and fancy free- makes one serving
2 oz reconstituted Fruitful Orange #100 or #010
2 oz reconstituted Fruitful Grapefruit #004
1 tsp lemon juice
4 oz club soda
Combine all ingredients and shake vigorously with crushed ice and chill. Serve in a tall, chilled glass.


Strawberry-Banana smoothie - makes one serving
4 oz reconstituted Smoothie Essentials Apple #380 (for sweetness)
1 Banana
1 cup whole strawberries
4 oz ice
4 oz plain yogurt
Blend ingredients until smooth and enjoy.

Tropical smoothie - makes one serving
2 oz reconstituted Smoothie Essentials Mango-Passion #384
2 oz reconstituted Smoothie Essentials Pineapple #381 1 banana 4 oz plain yogurt
4 oz Ice
Blend ingredients until smooth and enjoy.


You can make Granitas the simple way or you can use the "from-scratch" method. All you need for the simple method is ice and a blender. If you would like to use the from-scratch method, please read the following two tips to make your granita experience more enjoyable:

Tip #1 Simple Syrup - one of the main ingredients in granitas, this recipe will come in handy. If you plan on making granitas often, keep a quart or two on hand to save time. Recipe:

Combine equal parts sugar and water, depending on how much you want to make, and boil (about two minutes), stirring occasionally to help the sugar dissolve. Cool the mixture before using.

Tip #2 The Egg Test - This will come in handy to ensure that you add the proper amount of sugar (simple syrup) for freezing your granitas.

Pour all the ingredients (mixed according to the relevant recipe), except the simple syrup, into a deep-sided container and gently place one egg, still in the shell, in the liquid. Pour simple syrup into the container until the egg floats with a nickel-sized area visible. Remove the egg and follow the rest of the instructions.

Apple/Tarragon Granita - servings will vary with serving size
1 quart reconstituted Fruitful Apple #014 or #001
1 oz fresh tarragon
Simple Syrup (see tip #1 above for recipe)
1 egg (for egg test)
Blend the apple juice and the tarragon until the tarragon is completely blended. Perform the egg test to add the proper amount of simple syrup (see tip #2 above). Pour the mixture in a shallow container (make sure it is freezer safe!) and freeze overnight. To serve, scrape the granita with a fork or an ice cream scoop and place in cups or small bowls.

Orange Creme Granita - servings will vary with serving size; makes approximately 20 oz of ready-to-drink granita
10 oz reconstituted Fruitful Orange Creme Granita syrup #472
20 oz ice (may vary depending on size of ice cubes)
Blend ingredients together and enjoy!



Cool Cocktail - makes one serving
4 oz reconstituted Fruitful Grapefruit #004
4 oz reconstituted Fruitful Orange #100
1 oz vodka
1 oz melon liqueur
1/2 oz light rum
1 oz lime juice
ice
Place all the ingredients and add ice until blender is about 1/2 full then blend until smooth.

Mai Tai - makes one serving
3 oz reconstituted Fruitful Mai Tai #077 or #238
2 oz rum
4 oz ice
Combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth.



Bullfrog - makes one serving
6 oz reconstituted Fruitful Lemonade #011 or #006
2 oz vodka
Combine the ingredients and serve over ice in a tall glass.

Gentle Ben - makes one serving
5 oz reconstituted Fruitful Orange #100
1 oz vodka
1 oz gin
1 oz tequila
Mix ingredients and serve over ice.
